Soft but durable synthetic rubber Line and Float stops have a multitude of very useful rig uses and are one of the many small bits and pieces items which we all carry with us. Can be used above feeders as a back stop – where allowed – to stop the feeder sliding up the line too far and even, if pushed close to or against the feeder, to create a bolt rig.
Supplied with just 1 individual stop on a wire only (totally 14 wires and 14 stops). This is because for those which have several pieces per wire you very often find that after using the first stop the end of the wire loop either breaks or closes tightly preventing you from using the other stops. So more convenient and better value.
The wires are also very fine and so mean that the internal hole of each stop is similarly fine and that makes these quite a tight fit to the line. Of course, how tight the stops are depends on the diameter of the line being used.
Oval Stop
Very useful for placing either side (typically 1 above and at least 2 below) of loaded wagglers to fix them to the line but still allowing quick and easy depth adjustment without line damage. Used also below in-line Olivettes to set their depth and allowing repositioning.
Slim Stop
Due to their slim diameter some anglers even place a swivel over and on top of the Stops to semi-fix a rig. Very useful for placing either side (typically 1 above and at least 2 below) of loaded wagglers to fix them to the line but still allowing quick and easy depth adjustment without line damage.
