Made using soft fish friendly ‘carp’ sacking all through which is preferred by many fisheries. However this mesh is also often preferred by anglers fishing venues which are prone to Pike attacks being darker & finer.
The positive 3-part angle-tilt uses a stainless steel thread and is securely bonded into a D shaped aluminium top ring for rigidity and which also incorporates a small ‘V’ rest on the far side.
All of the support and base rings are aluminium for extra strength. All rings are slightly bigger than those on the Mixed Mesh keepnets at 50cm x 40cm. Therefore all of the Edge landing nets, including the 55cm (22”) Specimen fit into the top of these so you can lower your fish in.

I ordered 2 of the 2.4m edge carp keepnets as there was a deal on them and they arrived a few days later. First impressions are very good as they look and feel very strong. The top ring is metal and has a dip in the front to use as a rod rest, the angle lock feels solid as it’s also metal. The rings are metal so it will not be a problem to sink the net. You can pull the bottom rings through the top so you don’t have to roll your fish down the whole net and there’s a couple of retaining rings on the bottom so you can peg it out of you fish a canal. All in all they look and feel very good

The Edge carp keep nets are quality for the money, Aluminium rings throughout make it very strong. The mesh is fish friendly making it ideal for commercial fishing. Even the tilt mechanism is strong and easy to use. Without doubt these nets are great value for money especially if you’re buying on the multi buy option. Will be investing in another one to replace my old Preston’s one.
